Say Hello to Google Drive
Today, Google announced a new cloud storage service called “Google Drive”. This service gives its users access to all of their personal information from work, home, or mobile. User can drag-and-drop items from anywhere on the computer to the service. Google Drive comes with 5GB of free storage with paid options available. Google Drive will go up against Dropbox and other types of cloud storage services. Google Drive is available for Mac, PC, and Android devices. iOS devices support is coming soon. Facebook Buys Instagram for One Billion Bucks
Last week Instagram announced that their app will be coming to the Android platform. Well the news today trumps all of that. The largest social network in the world has just announced that they will purchase Instagram for a cool billion. Fans of Instagram have been expressing displeasure in the announcement. The negativity comes from the fear that Facebook will roll the service into Facebook’s photos app. Facebook released a statement and said they will not make any changes to the Instagram app or the services. We will see what happens.

Jesus Christ On The Cover of Newsweek
Newsweek has Jesus on the front cover of their latest magazine. The piece is called Christianity in Crisis. The author, Andrew Sullivan states that Christianity has been “destroyed” by politics, evangelist and priests. Sullivan believes that because of the various issues in the church, one should follow Jesus and not just an institution. He brings up other great points. Check out the article link in the post.

Billy Graham was qouted as saying “At age 93, I never thought we would have to debate the definition of marriage,” he says. “The Bible is clear — God’s definition of marriage is between a man and a woman.”

Donald Lawrence Conquers Cancer

Recently, gospel recording artist/producer/songwriter Donald Lawrence announced that he had not too long ago been diagnosed with cancer. During his announcement he revealed that he had been undergoing treatment for the disease, and the cancer was now “undetectable!”
Lawrence often writes and sings songs about faith and undoubtedly his faith in God helped him conquer this moment.

Kim Burrell Set to Record Commemorative Album for Whitney Houston

Kim Burrell’s manager, Krishnar Lewis, has released a video announcing Kim Burrell’s recording of a tribute album to Whitney Houston. The album will be produced by Luther “Mano” Hanes. No release date has been given, but the recording is set to happen this week.

The Crosses at Calvary are bold on Texas’ newest specialty plate. The plates also has “One State Under God” in capital letters on the bottom. Today is the first day that residents can order theses plates. i would be really excited if Maryland had plates like these.
